Hehe, I put some little red air tire cap things, and it made my car look so much better. I'm weird, but it really did. I was just wondering though, are there any other little things I can do to my baby as a "beginner mod-er"?

Thanks again!

An easy mod is to take those little red thingys off. lol j/k If you like em thats all that matters :D Keeping it clean is a dang good start....get some wheels, tint, clear you headlights (yourself) and then you have a start.

i'd start with a sound system (if its your first, fine a friend who has done it.. they can be confusing for total noobs like me...doh!) get some oznium cathodes, and some led's. they really help spiffy up the interior. maybe look into some indiglo gauges or import intelligence needles. (depending on what you want) i personally think rims cost way too much for that to be considered a beginning mod. but hey, thats me!

Painting the calipers isn't bad. You can do it while they are still on the car.

Let me tell you in advance, babygirl. In two weeks or after the next hard rain, those tire stems are gonna fade. And even though they were inexpensive, all it is is just a nice way of saying cheap. And maybe she should tells us what her level of car knowledge is, because after hearing "little red air tire cap things".........well, i can't knock her. I started out with the stems and red "wheel tint" and i thought i was blinging. B)

That was B4 A-mod, of course.

I bought some stainless steel tire stem caps at Walmart that should last. They even came with some sleeves to put over the rest of the stem. Not really that "great", but it looks alright.

My associates have said most of what I was thinkin', but here's 1 more:

What color is your car?
do you like the chrome that goes around your windows on the sides? If not, and you want it to disappear, just spend $5.00 @ your local auto parts store buying color-matched vinyl pinstriping, and cover up that chrome !

:: stands on her car, hands on her hips- Like a super hero! :: I know...NOTHING (well, actually just alittle) about cars. I only know how to change oil, tires. You knwo things you get me by if I'm stranded. Moding my car was the last night on my mind...but, gonna sound weird, I fell inlove with my car. I want her to be as beautiful as me. Of course, my brother, he's a car person, he's helping me out. So, he's my brain in modifying my little Devil.

hehe..

But my knowledge of systems...and other...things. ZIp...

ok, gonna babble again. Byes

Dangit, you're way over on the New Mex side of Tex. Maybe i'll take that road trip next year... HA!

Anyway, you're one up on me. Still can't change my oil. Not that i haven't wanted to learn, but i still have those coupons the dealership gave me for 10 dollar oil change. But once those run out, i'm moving to synthetic.

aww widdle babygirl is so cute... hehe... yeah, for starters clear the corners like i've been suggested to do so many times... ::sigh:: lol i'll get to it eventually... xenon bulbs add a nice effect to headlights, as well as led's for the blinkers (just make sure they aren't illegall in your area) hmmm.... lets see... window tint is allways nice ;) hope you can post some pics of your sweet devil, and you ;) hehe

A very easy mod even a child can do, put new rims on, put in SilverStar, follow by pinstripping your taillights. I would suggest reading the DO IT YOURSELF FORUM for clear-corner first cuz I know of ppl that have damage the housing including myself. Go to the local AutoZone or Advance and pick up caliper paint and paint your caliper. And if my home made 3-pod A-pillar looks good enuff I might make a few and sell it here

YES!!/\ the How To forum is a MUST if you want to get started modding. There's a walk-through for just about everything. Do a search if you can't find exactly what you're looking for.
