My power windows stoped working

So i was getting instaling my vent visors installed today and i went to open my diver diver side window.........and it wouldnot work! The passenger side works but
for some odd reason the diver side will not work. It was working fine before, but is this a common problem in the aleros? Also I drive a 2000 3.4 litter coupe......also i have know idea what model it is.....it has power everything and sunroof.

Well thats that......wanted to see if any of you could me out help beforofe i go back to the dealership where i bought it and get told some BS about whats wrong and get over charged for it :pissed: .

this happened to my moms car a while back. if there is to much pressure put on the window for example if someone is pushing down on it while your trying to roll it up it could blow the motor for that window. now im not familiar if the power windows have their own fuse or not but first i would check and see if thats it. then if not its probably the motor for that window.

ahah that exact problem just happened to me. I took it to the dealership cause my passenger side window bunnyed up and somehow they broke my drivers side window
So now i have no windows. They wanted 600$ cdn to fix it so i told them to shove up thier @$$. So im just gonna go buy a window motor off ebay and get a mechanic to put it in.

Happened in my 2000 also. Mine would go down, but not up. The problem was with the switch, but it was still under warranty then. I have no idea what it cost, but I think it was under $100.

My windows do this sometimes and all I do is jiggle the lock window switch and they work.

I'm happy that i joined this place.........really apreciate it guys......just hope that it will not cost too much money to fix.
Gonna bring it it this week so i hope it goes well.
Another plus is that i'm gonna be done finals this monday!!!!!!!

Well just thought i would tell you guys how the vent visors turned out.
They acutally look pretty good, they cover up some of my crome trim but that can be fixed with some decal or some thing like that. I also got some euro light super white LED side markers. Wow do these things look at night......also i hope the fact that these makers are super white will make them less illegal. BUt i've heard that you can use amber and white as turn signals.......but every cop says something different. But that is that.
