Just thought I'd make a note of this for you guys. I'm a big Sirius Radio fan. Right now, you can get a few really good deals. Go to www.sirius.com, and go to the "get sirius" tab, click on "buy sirius direct" and enter one of these promo codes based on what you want.

035 = XACT for Car $0; XACT for Car & Home $50; JVC KT-SR2000 for $0
466 = Sportster for $79.99
129 = Dish SR200 for $99

Those are all really good, especially the XACT for Car for free.

Sirius is $10 a month if you pay for a whole year in advance, and additional receivers can be added for $7 a month.

With Sirius, you get all the NFL games, NBA, eventually Stern, and lots of great music and talk radio.

wish i had the extra ten a month, problem is that adds up fast or is a nice chunk of change up front, otherwise id already have it cause I got to listen to it a lot while i worked at best buy and being able to get all the NFL games alone woulda been worth it, thanks for posting the great deals though!

the $499.99 deal isn't bad either. (if you have the money on hand) pay that up front and you get free service for the life of the reciever. nice deal if you take good car of things.... :lol:

I want sirius real bad, but won't I have to get a new head unit?

You don't need a new head unit. There are many ways to hook up a PNP (plug and play) unit. Most car kits have an FM modulator built in.... basically, your sirius broadcasts to FM and your antenna picks it up.... you tune your HU to the correct station. I used to have mine set up that way. It sounds much better than regular radio, but not as good as cd. I got a HU with an AUX in, so I hooked it up through there, and now it really sounds like a cd. If your head unit has the controls for a cd changer, you can get a wiring kit that lets your sirius get hooked up that way.

Are you sure of 035 as it does not show what you had gotten. Maybe they just sold out?
