would anybody recommend getting the chiltons for the alero... or any other manual for that matter?

I have the haynes manual seems to cover most stuff except for electrical troubleshooting, one problem it only applys to 99 and 2000 Aleros.

^^ Yeah I have the Haynes too. I rather have the Chiltons but I've never seen one

I have a 2001 Alero, which I couldn't find a manual for, so I got the GM service manual. If you are interested you can buy it from https://www.helminc.com
The only draw back is the price $135.00. But if you are a do-it-your-selfer, it's worth it. You get 2 phone book size books.
