Second question, I have a leaky gasket and need to know what it is.
Angle Perspective: You are standing in front of the car looking at the engine (driver side on your right).
On the right side of the engine underneath the throttle body and to the left of the exhaust manifold, there is a metal water housing that bolts to engine. I am unsure if it is an input or output line. Any clue what this part might be called or what gasket fits there?

There was a first question? I guess you have the 3400? If I had to guess which iam I would say it is your Thermostat housing. is it anitfreeze leaking out?

My first question was the tech manual. :)
Yep, 3400. It is definitely antifreeze leaking. I have to refill the water level every couple of days.

I had a problem similar to your with my last car. It was leaking coolant out of the thermostat housing and when I took it apart to change the gasket, basically all of the gasket had been eaten away. I'd say try changing the gasket see if that helps... You can pick one up at an auto parts store for like a buck or two.

check your oil. if it's milky and you have coolant in it, you have the dreaded lower intake manifold leak, and you're lookin at about $900 in repairs.

Ok, I am a few days behind on this topic. Is this the thermostat housing that sits under the air intake? The oil is still oil, not milky. I was inspecting the leak a bit closer (and a lot more light) and it is a fairly steady drip, even with a cold engine.
