Okay, I've ran across some packages that include the wheels and tires together. Are they any goo? Does anyone know of a really good site for them?

when i got my first set of rims I got a package deal of 17 inch Volution Sakura Wheels with Hankook Ventus tires. The tires were awesome in very wet conditions. My only complaint is that the tires they "give" you are really small. Height wise and they really show a lot of wheel gap. You can usually purchase bigger and better tires for and extra $20-$30 a tire...its a good idea to do that. Thats my tip.

oh, to answer your other ?, there are tons of places to get package deals, type in Tire and Wheel Packages in your favorite search engine and you will come up with 100 sites or look in your favorite car magazine like Sport Compact or Import Tuner. There are at least 15 pages of rim places that offer package deals. Hell, go to ebay.

Tirerack does a great job with wheel & tire packages. If you do use them, please click through the banner on the homepage on aleromod.

These guys are good, they make you buy locking lug nuts. www.tires.com (http://www.tires.com) They also sell 19 inch and 20 inch wheels for the Alero, they may not fit but they make them.

Ok, I've been looking around for a while now, and here's what I've found:
( most of these have free mounting, balancing, and free shipping. Lugs and hub centric rings are extra.

you also have to remember when they say that they come balanced....there full of SH*T....i had to rebalance 3 of the 4 wheels because they were so off they made my car vibrate after 35 mph.

The best place to get tires and wheels, and mounted and balanced for the cheapest is Tires.com, which is Discount Tire Co. Tire Rack might be cheaper off the bat for the tires and wheels, but then you gotta think about shipping, mounting, balancing, Warrantys, and labor. Go to a local Discount Tire Co. store and ask em about it, I'm sure you will get a good deal

So what? You'ld be a fool not to use wheel locks. I've spent much less than most people for my rim and tire package, and I can't wait to buy a set. Once you spend some hard-earned cash on a nice set of wheels, you won't want them stolen.
Discount Tire is just taking out the idiot factor. ( Idiots would rather save nickels while risking having dollars stolen )

Did you even read my first post YB? Iam the one that brought up the locking lug nuts forwww.tires.com (http://www.tires.com) I think it is a great Idea and Iam pretty sure they dont let you buy the wheels without the lug nuts thats why they add them in automatically.

My point being that it's common knowledge that tires.com is Discount Tire, or more commonly known online as Discount tires direct. What name you call them is irrelevant, same company, same company policy.

I never said anything saying that they arent discount tire direct infact my link leads to 2 more links to either go to tires.com or the store site for discount tires.
