I bought a 2001 GLS sedan a few months ago. Good to see a community here for me when I have questions, or need to know where to get my custom guages. I've never been in to modding before, but then again I've never had a car this nice before. My friends all like it.

I'll probably just do a few minor mods like headlights (just bright halogens at first, not too sure I want to slap down $400 for HID's, though it would be nice...) possibly custom guages, and maybe clear side (I don't like the yellow)

Hope you guys don't mind helping someone who isn't just new to this forum, but new to car mods altogether!

Welcome aboard! Everyone's a mod virgin at some point in their life. Lucky for you, this site is rife with info to help you out. Check out the How-To section for some really good starter info.

Welcom to the boards ! :) The how-to section is great here, and there's also a link to most everything you could want to buy for your car, too. When @ "the Portal (http://invision.aleromod.com/index.php?act=portal)", look on the left side of the screen under Navigation, and you'll see a link for "all upgrades". There you'll find links to performance products, appearance products, and suspension components to help make your Alero a corner-carver. Have fun modding ! :thumbsup:
