Would fenders for a 2001 Grand AM or 2001 Cavalier would fit my 2001 Alero?

if you want the short answer it is no, But if you wan't to do a full front end conversion with a grand am then yes the grand am fenders will fit! but that includes the hood, fenders, bumper, headlights, headlight support bracket. And the cavalier fenders will not fit at all

Ahh okay.. the reason is one of my fenders had a hit and run about two years ago (would cost the same to repair it as it would to buy a new one or two) and I thought that I would just replace both of them. I've tried looking for a site that sells aftermarket Alero fenders and all I've found were the stock fenders. Whatever.. I'll probably end up just getting that one stock fender.

Do you know of any sites that sell aftermarket Alero fenders?

Hey blue, I found a guy that custom makes the fenders in Texas and ships them out. From what I remember, they were pretty cheap, too. lemme see If I can find thread where I posted the info....

Youngblood77- That would be great.

I'm not really looking for the full conversion.. but it sounds interesting hahaha.. an "Alero AM".

you don't need to know to the lengths of having fenders shipped from another state. just get whatever vent inserts you want (z3, m3, etc) i paid $40 for my inserts on ebay. Then just go to a decent body shop. Any decent bodyshop should be able to mold in your inserts. I paid $100 a fender for the molding from my shop......

Ok blue, here's the thread. These aren't GA fenders, my friend, these are customized Alero fenders. Much like 99Aleroboy and Crazytaxi have. Keep in mind, the price he quoted me was for both fenders shipped from Texas to NY. Shipping to your place may be cheaper.

And 99, you payed $100 per fender for the install on your own fenders, and $40 for the inserts off ebay, right? that totals to $240.00. This guy quoted me $285.00 for both fenders, but I keep my origionals. That's like spending an extra $45.00 for an extra pair of fenders, and shipped to my door no less. Smokin' deal IMO.

Again, the only variable in question is the quality of the work. For all I know, the guy who returned my emails might be some retarded kid in a garage somewhere working for a nickel an hour making junk panels. Who knows? To be honest, it's only 3 bills, and if this coming Summer turns out ok work-wise, I'm will to spend 3 bills to find out. B)

Either way, here's the info I was talking about earlier.....if anyone in the area has seen this guy's work, or could maybe give the rest of us a heads-up on his local reputation, it would be GREATLY appreciated. B)
