Ecu On (ecotec)

does anyone know how to reset the ecu on the ecotec

unplug the battery for 20-30 min?

after that is done, then what

plug the bat back in, and idle the car for a few min, then drive normally to get the tranny and fuel delivery all set.

should i do this after any mods to the air intake or xhaust?
