Anyone know the wattage for the speaks in our doors?

i am running 50rms if they are true 4 ohm this is high quality 50 wats.

A Monsoon rep told me that the amp was 25 watts RMS (max 50) to all channels. I doubt this is true but they should be able to handle a good fifty watts with little problems.

the tweeters will run hot with a good amp if you push it.

Does connceting an amp to a tweeter really greaten the effect?

Does anyone know if the stock speakers in the doors are paper or poly or coated paper or what?

I think 25 rms sound like a good estimate. Thanks

im running 65 watts to all 4 corners at 4 ohms......i know it aint at 4 ohms..........but they handle what im giving them pretty well.........

Ok, I have a rear 16x9 stock speaker in my hand, here's what the back says:

Delco Electronics
8 Ohms
16242789
8MD5K3
8MN2A5

No code had a result in Google. But the 8ohms tells us any 4 ohm speaker replacement in there will kick out x2...

hah...good catch..I'm putting in a tv in the car and I'm getting that mixed up with the 16:9 resolution.
