My ABS and parking brake light stay on after my parking brake is off. The car doesn't feel like it is slowed down by the brake being on. Any ideas.

I think you might have a problem with your battery or battery posts AleroSS. I cleaned my posts and that fixed the problem for about a week. I just cleaned the rust off. A couple days ago it happened again and I had to have the battery replaced after only two months because it was dead. I had my mechanic do a bunch of tests to see if there was a big drain on the battery and they came up with nothing so I guess the battery was defective. Anyways my parking brake and abs light aren't on anymore.

No luck, infact shortly after this happened, I discovered that my E-Brake had seized up, and I had to have it towed to the dealership for warranty coverage (parts needed replacing apparently - no indepth details yet until I get the service report)

Hey guys i have the same problem (along with every other one on this site) But my ABS brake light comes on with my "no traction" light only in the winter. Maybe it has something to do with the snow. All i can say is Dodge here i come!!!!!!!

Dude, have them check your brake cable, they determined that mine needed replacing, and I havent had a problem since :)

Dude, don't go there.. you'll be having front axles snapping, front ends going out transmissions blowing and also be pumping gas outa the wazoo.
^Thats mostly on their Durango/Dakota/Ram trucks. But I've heard stories/seen Daimler Chrysler cars that have literally broke suspension pieces while driving down the road.
^This is all on 21st century vehicles. So its not like something a decade old that they have fixed.

i had an abs light a trac off and a service vehicle soon light. Mine turned out to be a bad wheel bearing.

That's exactly what I had and on both sides too and then they fixed it and now its fine. I also had an annoying sound that went with it.
