What Size And Color Rims?

alright... i wondering what anyone else would do.. 17's or 18's, white, gold, bronze, chrome, or silver... its a stock artic white with the small gold strip... i'm having a hard time deciding.. i'm gonna keep it this color after i get the body kit.. so i was wondering what everyone else would do?

lose the gold strip (I'm assuming you mean pin stripe?) and chrome is the best way to go. if you live in an area with TONS of potholes, you might want to stay away from the larger wheels. 17's might be the best in that scenario. But if you live in an area with excellent roads, try for the 18's, maybe even 19's if the budget is right.

Chrome or Silver 18's, white would probably look good also but gold would be fugly.

chrome sucks on our cars no matter what color the car or size of the rim, they just don't look good in my opinion. There are a lot of color coordinated cars around here, example; White car with white rims, black and black, and so on and i think they look awesome. If i were you I would either go with white or black. Chrome sucks, gold is ugly, and silver wouldnt match your car. White would look awesome and would match great and black would be a nice contrast. Just my $.02

there are some wheels out there w/ gold accenting on the rims, i think that would look pretty nice /shrug, but only if you want to keep the gold theme going

My opinion-Ditch the gold pinstripe. Tint the windows really dark, like 20%. Paint the calipers black, then get some gunmetal rims to set it off. Maybe even black overlays to go over the doorhandles to tie it all together.

i know you said that its you opinion, but chrome looks good on almost anythin....our cars...i mean, look at Travis99Alero's pic....can't say that it doesn't look great...

i also say chrome 18's

yes they look good on travis's car...but that things dropped...and yes they looked good on silents car to...i just dont think they look good on any ol' alero.

no matter what rims he goes with, if the car isnt lowered, they arent going to look very good.

I also think that 17s sometimes look better than 18s. And IMO, 19s look too big

I totally agree with Travis. No matter the color of the car, no matter what wheel, it's gotta be dropped. That's why my rims are gonna collect dust until the 'ho gets dropped. I gotta disagree with all the gold remarks though, I think that with the right accenting and contrast, gold or bronze rims look sweet. In all honesty, I had my heart set on a set of broze Motegi's, but I just couldn't walk away from the deal I got on vulgar's set-up, so I'm sportin' chrome instead.

It all comes down to his own personal taste I think....he's the one that's gotta look @ it in the driveway. No matter what rim he chooses, I hope it's dropped when he get's them on there.
