Well guys it's been a long time since I have posted, but I need an answer to my question. I was driving to work today and as soon as I pulled into work my car started to make a noice that sounded like my rotors or wheel got loose real fast. Well I check my lugs and they were good and I just replaced all my rotors two months ago along with the brakes. so that couldn't be it so I was wondering if it could be my CV joint. I took to my dad and bro and they both agree to the CV or wheel bearing. What's your thoughts and if it is the CV how hard is it to change? Thanks Oh yea the noice got worse on the ride home. it's real bad now.

That sounds wierd man. Usually the CV joint makes a clicking type of noise when it's going, and a wheel bearing makes a "growling" type of noise when it's going bad. Not to mention that both seem to take awhile before they sound worse. If it truly sounds worse than it did when you first noticed it in that short of a time-frame, take it to a mechanic asap. Better safe than sorry IMHO.

I agree....I have replaced both CVs and It was not too hard...reason being that the army green cream came out when I split the boot somehow...did you have any come out? or any boot splitting?...should hear some popping

Well they are not too hard...It took me and my father about an hour and a half on each side...might as well replace both at same time...and you just have to pull them out of the spindle (different names for it) and then out of the transaxle. The more you work on these cars the less you will spend in future cars.
