hoodscoops are available everywhere..... you just need to find the one you want, measure where you want to place it, cut out under neath it, and then mold it into the top and repaint it all.

i know that.. but like.. if i want to run it from the middle.. like the ss scoop or sumthin like that.. and then channel it to my intake, whats the best material for the channeling part?

the problem with doing it directly to your intake is that everything that comes into your scoop would go directly into your engine, there would need to be a pretty heavy duty filter to keep all the water and dirt and rocks from getting in there.

what i was ponduring the other night it it possible to use our factory air box as the top post and one how riging it up to work. Im not sure how you would do this but good luck trying.

you have to use a system that would work on the engine

i remember my co workers 2000 eclipse gt, it had vents right in the space between the hood and bumper, those then sucked the air down into a container (with an opening underneath i'm sure) then came back up into the airbox

the dimensions of the whole thing basically take the water that leads in and expels it into a channel so it doesn't enter the filtration area
