hey yall. i just finished LED-ing my vents. yes, you heard me. leds in my vents. they turn on when my interior lights click on at night.
unfortunately i don't have my computer functioning right now, or i'd post pics for everyone. and a how to is also on the way,when my comp. stops being a pita.

so yeah, 7 leds total, some hot glue, solder, wire and epoxy.

i can't feel my fingers and toes cuz i just finished it up and its only 12 here. (non heated garage)

anywho... i'm just happy its done and looks good. :D :lol: :D

I've got leds in my vents. They look pretty good. I have mine on a switch though.

awesome :thumbsup: can't wait to see pics, I also have just started my LED/ cold cathode project on my car, 4 cathode bars and 10 led's to put places of my liking, if i see the how to and see if it is easy enough, i'll go for the vents too :)

back on topic....pics kinda dark and blurry, least the close ones seem to be. the wider pic through the drivers window looks pretty cool though.

it'll be a bit longer then i thougth before i can post some. i had a friend reinstalling my o.s on my harddrive and he gave me the drive back telling my its fubar'd. does nothing. so i'm using my dads comp. while i'm waiting a new harddrive that i ordered.

and i can't resize pics on this comp. maybe if i can take some good quality smaller pics, then maybe. i'll check it out. if i can, then tonight i'll post some good ones.

those actually arn't too bad....i dont like the neon type setups that make the hole interior of the car glow.....like the whole floor is that color

Yeah, I'm with Mike2002. I'm not into the whole interior lit up w/neons (or LEDs.) But your vent deal is pretty tight.

how to has been posted in the "HOW TO" section. unfortunately the pics i had got lost when my harddrive crapped out, so i did the best i could describing it. later i'll post some pics of how it looks from the inside (when warmer temps allow such things)
