Well guys I think I have a bad head gasket. I been putting antifreeze in my car about every two weeks or so fpr the past month and I half. I was just thinking I had a small hole somewhere and the weather being so poopty, I kept putting it off until I started thinking I'm not seeing anything on the ground (snow) so I must have a head gasket problem if I don't have any leaks. Well I went to get my oil changed and I told them what has been going on, so when they drained my oil they said that the oil was steaming but it was cold so it may have oil in it. But I was thinking wouldn't oil and anti-freese seperate? Well any way what are your two cents (thoughts) on this matter? and if it is my head gasket. How hard is it to change out?

sounds like the lower intake manifold gasket leak... you should be able to see coolant in the oil though, it'll look like a milkshake almost. i think i've had this leak for a while, but it's not bad, i only have to add coolant every 2 or 3 months, currently waiting on funds, and when i get ported U&LIM, i'll all be replaced (obviously)

and if you have a 4cyl, oldsman will be able to tell you more about that, because i dont know anything about them :P

Sounds like you have the gasket leak.

Try looking here... this is how we figured out about the leak with the SFI series.
Our Impala had this problem.
