There is a old saying that says that the worth of something is how much someone will pay for it.

they run about 125-350 at car-part.

190-325 at other parts sites.

Demand isn't that high for a used stock hood, so price shouldn't be either. Except for someone who has recently been in an accident. :huh?:
I replaced my stock hood on my TA with a fiberglass cowl induction hood. I originally advertised the stock hood (like new) for $150.00 eventually down to $75.00 People called but no one ever followed up, Eventually just to get rid of it, I gave it away to one of the callers (free), if he promised to pick it up within a couple of days.

Grouch, what are some other popular car part sites besides www.car-part.com?

http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/
http://www.carpartswholesale.com/
http://www.parts.com/ - this link is like a link search engine. Will provide you with list of links for a large number of parts places. Haven't gone through hardly any of them to see what's there though.

You could mod your old hood or use it to practice body work on.

doubt it. Though you could probably sell it to your local salvage yard for cheap. They ain't gonna pay much for it. Or try eBay, but then you have to deal with shipping.
