Troubleshooting Help?

Are there any known problems with our ignition switches, or the terminal connections at the ignition switch? when i start my car with the key my guage cluster, a/c-heater controls, and windows dont operate(all this just started occuring today) after a short while they all come on. if i start my car with the remote start, everything works fine? thats what is leaning me towards ignition switch, anybody else dealt with a problem like this?

The only problem I have with my ignition is the passlock system and shuts my fuel pump off for 10 minutes which sucks.

u need a new ignition cylinder part. You can swap out the key area (where ya put the key in) into a new ignition cylinder. or you can get another ignition key cylinders and have 2 keys.. one for starting and other for doors/trunk/glovebox .. lol

my bro's alero had that same problem.. he'll start up the car.. but nothing electrical works.. but the car is started.
