On ebay, I can find a car stereo receiver for $7.50. I can theen search for a compatiable face plate and find it for $15. If these two together make for a nice HU, what is wrong with doing this? I don't want to pay $100 for an HU when I can make two ebay purchases and have one for a lot cheaper. Explain this please. Are all of these stolen?

Some people might just be wanting to get rid of them because they don't have the full unit. If I had only a faceplate or just the receiver, I'd be selling it just to get rid of it.

I was pretty shure that each faceplate only went with the reciver it came with so if u try and use a face plate off one and try switch it with an exact same model it wouldnt work.
