My door panels have gone through about four different stages in an attempt to fit my eclipse 6.5 comps. This seems to be the best version. I removed the plastic pocket on the door by drilling out the welds. With the pocket out, I was able to cover it with resin and glass. The cool thing is that fiberglass won't stick to plastic so it made a nearly perfect mold. If I dislike the results, I still have the original unharmed. After I finished the outside of the fiberglass it was time to make a manor to fasten it to the door. I simply fitted the fiberglass into place and turned over the door. I then ran bolts into the holes that the original panel fastened to. A small amount of resin was placed onto the ends of the bolts that would touch the fiberglass. After fifteen minutes I removed the fiber glass from the door and began to fill the backside. Special attention was made to build up around the bolts since these were going to hold it in place. A few strips of platic were ran in the inside (like fins) to add support and resist flexing. After that it was just a matter of sanding and bondo. My next step will be to make a mold of this piece so that it can be replaced if damage occurs. I also have two spots to fix on this panel. My first idea for fastening it to the door concisted of a drill and screw. Needless to say I have a nice little hole two inches over the speaker. The other problem is that I can't find a paint that matches. If anyone knows of a color number I would appreciate it. Otherwise, I would like to cover it with vinyl. I have three way stretch vinyl, but have had little luck in using it. I found that placing it in the dryer for fifteen minutes helps to stretch, but I still get folds around the speaker. Is it possible to cover something like this or should I just stick to paint? Thanks and I will post more as it comes along.

Thanks. I wanted to keep as much of the stock appearance as possible. Everything else I did just seemed to be out of place.

I will try to get some pics of the next door panel. I stoped taking them after the second unsuccessfull attempt. The good thing is that the weather is starting to get better. I have had to do all the glass at work. Thanks for the responses. I appreciate the good words.
