Fuel Sensor

1999 Alero 2.4l, just recieved the fuel level sensor AC Delco SK 1080. It came with some instructions, but no where does it tell you where to find the part where to change it. Thought it may have been in the trunk, but now I'm thinking I will have to take the tank out to replace it. Could any one tell me where to look to replace this part. Thank you

yup its on the fuel pump and thats in the fuel tank.......disconnect battery, relieve fuel pressure in gas tank, undo wiring harness to fuel pump, undo fuel lines, support tank, undo straps......it really isnt too bad.....just a lil harder cause the cars low....

you will need a pair of ring pliers to get the pump to release

i found out the hard way got it all out and didn't have the tool
