20"s On Alero

Hey i have
Velocity 495 rims
LUG PATTERN: 5X4.5 5X5.75

OFFSET: HIGH

SIZE: 20X8.5

Nitto 235 35 20 tires

The front ones fit perfect.
but the back oens hit that bottom of the spring i think its the strut.
if i can lift te strut like 2 inches it would fit , is there any way i can get these rims to fit my car??
they have been sitting in my car for months and its starting to get sunny. :(

i think its prollya problem with the offset of your rims causing the tire to be too close to the spring. You could get spacers to put between the rim and the hub, that would take them alittle bit away from the spring. Or a better idea would just get narrower tires and keep your 235's as a spare set for the front. Go with a 225 (that's what i have on my 18's) or maybe even go with a 215. I think spacers would be cheaper tho, and theose back rims stickin out a bit more would look phat.
