my friend got his stratus done (a 4 door) for $175 or something like that at van crafter's on groesbeck south of martin. he got 2.5% on the doors, the quarter windows, and the big rear window and 5% on his fronts. i called him a moron but it was a good job and it cost him very little for a quality job.
i'm from sterling heights. went to de la salle. i live in pittsburgh now on a lacrosse scholarship to robert morris university

I got mine tinted in Brighton about a year ago. $170 cash for 20% all around. I have no problems out in the 'burbs with it. I did get a ticket when I went downtown with it once. I was going under the speed limit and he pulled me over just for tint. Now I have a prescription and it's legal, and I haven't had any more problems. Overdrive75 even got a ticket last night in my car at the airport and the cop didn't say anything about the tint.

All depends on if the cop's a prick, or has nothing better to do, which also makes him/her a prick

The cop was a prick, Pat already talked to his supervisor and is planning on fighting everything. He wrote a ticket for no proof of insurance when he had my proof of insurance in his hand. That's why it surprised me that he didn't try to write him up for tint and the busted windshield.

I had mine done on my old white alero for $120. Sounds cheap but the kid who did it did it as a side job on a Sunday. I had 30% in the back and 40% up front. My new alero I'm having 20% in the back and 30% up front. I only know of 3 people who have gotten tickets. All they had to do was peel it off the front then the ticket was waived. Next day the tint goes right back on. Brighton cops aren't to bad about tint, it's the state cops that seem to hate window tint. This time I'm only paying $100. (My buddy is doing it again as a side job. He works up at Ultimate Body in B-Town.)

I had mine done when I bought the car, the used car dealer I bought it from tinted it as a freebie, not sure what the percentages are, but the back windows are nearly black you can't see through them at all from the outside, unless you put you face right up to it, the front is a shade or 2 lighter.
I'd have to admit tho, a nice dark tint on these cars looks sweet.
