I had the lower intake manifold gasket replaced on my 3,4L Alero, and since then I have a «soft gas pedal». The tension on the pedal isn't the same anymore, there is a «dead zone» on it, I really have to solicit the pedal in order to GO.
I took the car back to the dealer, but they said the car was OK. I know it isn't. ( I know my car after driving it for over a year). I then took it to another dealer for a second opinion, same result 'the car is OK' they say, BUT IT AIN'T.
What could they have done to change the tension on the gas pedal when replacing the lower intake manifold gasket? How can I guide my dealer in order to correctly diagnose my problem?
Please help me if you can, my Alero isn't fun to drive anymore :(
