Power Steering

Has anyones power steering quit or am I the first one? Need help trouble shooting it?

im guessing by you saying it quit that its really hard to turn the wheel?? ive heard of them going bad what year is your car and how many miles do you have on it?

ITS A 99 3.4L WITH 113000KM ON IT
YEA SHE QUIT LASTNIGHT IN A SNOWSTORM NICE.
SO ITS IN THE GARAGE NOW WAITING FOR A NEW PUMP I GOTTA PUT IN.

thats a lil short on mileage but its always possible.........anything is possible with these stupid cars.....

I know its like pump after pump with this car ohh well its still a great car.
I just pulled out the power steering pump and the pulley came right off with the shaft intact. The impellar was sheared off. Who needs a mechanic to diagnose :thumbsup: Install new pump tomorrow.
