as the title states, it was just laid in place, it now sits in the dining room on a stand waiting for small repair and paint. at the same time as the rear wing, and do you know what would go excellent with both? OSV body kit!

Yeah me and my Dad have the plan laid out for that, thats why this painting project is taking so long, we found an excellent spot on the bottom side, so as to not take away from the rigidity, and doing some added fiberglassing in the scoop area, and we are gonna screen it to keep the leaves and such out.

Oh and the quality of this hood is Excellent! well worth the wait and cost.

I appreciate all work and extra attention CrazyTaxi has put into this.

Thats sweet,

I swear i saw a car driving down the highway one time with a hood like that on it.

But i've never seen him on this site. Wonder if maybe i was just seeing shadows and the factory hood.

Where did you see it? I'll tell you if there is one in that area.

i read on the site that that hood is from that the 99 model would have to be converted to a hood prop. does anyone know if there is a way around that and make the hydraulic lifters work with that cowl hood?

There is no way that maintains the integrity of the hood.

man, that hood looks sick as hell

Yes you have to convert to hood prop, and no it's not hard at all. Go to dealership, say you need the hood prop and the mounting stuff, and the thingys to hold it in place while not being used.

i do really like that hood, but i like my air lifters on my hood. it proves to be extremely convient when working under the hood.
