Trans And Ses Probloms

I just installed a CAI and changed my oil and now i have a SES light on and my trans is making a hard shift in to drive for Park or Neutral the whole car
jerks when i put it in Drive. If any one can help with either thing that would be cool

ive heard of people having trouble with this but i cant remember the problem.......id check all your connections, your iat sensor(make sure its got a tight teal), your maf sensor.......if everything checks out fine go get it checked at autozone, they do free scans........

Basicaly your MAF sensor is has somehow set a code. When this happens the transmission goes to max line pressure to protect itself, as it can't trust readings from the MAF. Check to make sure the MAF is connected, and disconnect the battery in the car for about 15 minutes, then reconnect. This will allow the computer to clear itself of codes fuel trims and what else and relearn as best as it can to the new air flow, even though it will never truely learn to what it needs to be.

This for sure should help with the transmission.

My Cavy did that when I forgot to plug it in

i did alll that come to find out it was the TPS that was all messed up. 25 bucks later i got it. Thanks thought
