first, alero's dont have frames. second, if you're asking this, just take it to a body shop if it's not totaled.

Yeah, chances are if its as bad as it sounds, I wouldn't think that its going to be salvageable, but we DO want some pics so we can add it to the crashed gallery. We've got to be close to 10 or 15 by now. *knock on wood*

Schimmel03

Yeah, that definatly doesn't look bad. Not sure how you bent the frame but it looks to me like a new hood and bumper... maybe a fender? How did it bend the "frame"?

You can beat the crap out with a hammer. My bro had a Dodge Colt that met a tree at about 15mph and it bent the unibody and all the body guy did was beat it back to the way it should be with no problem.

Your probably looking at around 1000-3000 in damage just for the front... although its not as bad as mine ($5000) some components are going to have to be replaced/bent back.
I had similar damage to mine in December... hood, fender, engine bay, bumper, etc...

the back bumper........looks like it would buff out, looks like the paint off the other car....maybe not
for the front, couldn't you just go at the "frame" with a mallet, then put a new bumper cover on it.. hood looks fixable too....
now that the systems working it must have been to loud and it distracted you....lol
