i have been looking into this for awhile. the only option out there is we need to find out what other GM cars uses our fuel pump. if the J-bodies does then there is something for us.
so do some crossreferencing.
how about one of us just simply drops the tank and compare it to high flow walbro's and find the one that'd best fit. A little modification never hurt anybody.
I'll see if the guys here at the shop will drop the tank, so we can take pictures to figure this poop out.

i am sure you guys can find a high volume replacement......i replaced the fuel filter on my uncles van and it was the same, so i think they use that size for a lot of different models......

ok i have some good news. i've checked a few different sites including gmpartsdirect.com and found that the fuel pump in our cars (including grand ams and malibus) are the same part as in the cavalier and sunfire. i'll do some checking and get back if i find any good deals on in-tank pumps.
