I was wondering if all aleros have a factory amp, because I was looking for it in the trunk on the drivers side and could not find anything that resembled an amp back there. So any help would be appreciated!

Nope. Only the ones with Monsoon sound. I think even the premium sound ones didn't have amps...but I could be wrong.

Mine had good stock sound, but no amp.

The reason I am wondering this is because I have a Kenwood headunit that puts out 50/4 and I wondered if I should bepass the amp, however it doesn't appear as though I have an amp to bypass so my factory speakers I am assuming are then getting their power from the headunit?

On the driver's side of the trunk, pull the carpet back, it should be mounted above or just in front of the wheel well. Yes, the premium sound package came with the amp. I have one in my car.

general amp placement

i've got a 99' factory amp is same as said

pull back carpet, driver side of trunk, about a foot in you'd see it
