well, besides the fuel pump being a giant pain in my ass, i've noticed that my car doesn't start all that great anymore.
i have been "priming" it and letting the fuel pump re-compress... but it still turns over several times before actually starting.
is there a chance that the constant turning is starting to kill my spark plugs or starter? i mean, i only have like 30k on the car. wtf? :pissed:

ya, mine seems to take a bit more to start these days too. I replaced the fuel pump a few months back cause it died on me, and the plugs and wires are new last summer.
I was thinking it might be time to check out the starter and mabye the alternator too.
Your geuss is as good as mine.

Have you changed your fuel filter? When mine gets cloged it takes a few times to start her up.

Once again I'll say it. If it is worse when the engine is warm, CRANK SENSOR! Took GM 14 months to figure that out with mine. Dealership then tried it with 3 other cars with the 3400 and the same issue and all were cured!
