Hello Everyone,
I got problem with engine noise in speakers. It is really strange because it happens only occasionaly(more and more frequently lately). When it happens and I park my car the car just dies. It totaly disconnects form the battery. The radio settings dissapear and go back to factory settings, the trip odometer resets to 0, the lights (interior/exterior) are dead. In order to start the car again, I have to turn the key 4 to 5 times and then the car just starts like nothing happened. The only trouble is that it is happening more frequently and I have to keep on restoring my radio settings and my alarm settings. Anyone has any idea what this could be??? I already checked the grounds and they all look alright. Please help.

Thank you

check the cables at your battery, both the positive and negative.......it sounds power is getting shut off to everything........more than likely its a cable or terminal........

also is the security setting on your dash coming on?? i forgot to ask this earlier......

No, no security light coming on. I got the ignition sensor replaced 3 weeks ago becasue my security light was flashing and I could not start the car at all.
You are right it looks as if the power is shutting of to everything. I checked the terminals and the positive was very, I mean very slightly loose. I tighten it and will see if it will come back.
Do you think if it was slightly loose it could have been causing it? What throws me off is that it happens everytime I hear the engine noise in my speakers. What is more staranger is that the engine noise in speakers does not happen all the time. Any speculations/ideas/suggestions?

Thank you
