i posted this so it could apply to all the engine types.
-anyways, i noticed ever since i took apart my UIM, and all its poop, the car has lost alot of power, and doesnt seem half as peppy as it used to be. what i would like to know is, what i can do or if anyone knows what can be done to help this problem out.
-what i was thinking was:
> tranny fluid and filter need to be replaced (im at 45k)
> the throttle linkage is real loose and needs to be tightened to reduce the gas pedal play
> or the injectors are seated wrong and deliver fuel at a bad angle.
- the car is not throwing any codes right now, it just has a noticeable decrease in power. dont tell me i have bad gas because i have gone through almost 3 tanks, and im using 89 Amoco gas, with fuel system cleaner.
