yea gold might look a bit too much gfunky. try doing a photoshop when you get them on to see. It might look ok, if it was a dark gold.
gold will probably be a little much, i was looking for black plastic mesh for mine... think i can pick up like black plastic gutter guard at home depot or something?

dont get plastic gutter gaurd, find a metal supply shop and buy some expanded metal. its cheap and if your lucky the guy might hook you up for free. cause they are small pieces and he might have some lying around.

you can't tell the plastic is plastic, plus you don't have to worry about the paint chipping off.

IMO, any of these will work
silver to match the rims.
gold only if you're getting gold rims.
Black will work on any car, and won't really change the appearance of your car.
white will match your car no matter what. ;)
yeah, i had the silver metal mesh grill stuff on my car, but the carwash i work at, when i brought my car through, it ripped out of my damn bumper... so i'm gonna get plastic... that and the metal hurts like a mother when you are trying to install it... lol

gold would not look right i tried doing a gold grill on a previous car i owned, didnt look right, just regular guter guard at the home depot cost like seven bucks, i painted mine blue with engine enamel for five bucks at wal mart. the paint will chip a lil bit but its not noticable unless your two inches away from it, and i never put mine through a carwash anyways i always wash it by hand.

My old mesh on my stock bumper lasted through many car washes, and even a wreck lol, I just used a butt load of cylicone and it stayed in there perfectly!

i dont know what color mesh to put on my bright red car... dont know if bright red would blend too much and black would look sharp but might be a bit unnoticable.
