I was thinking on getting the silver (im guessing that that would be the platnum that you're talking about) on my silver it would look good but not sure on white. Do a photoshop to see what it would look like.

Check the law where you're at also, I know reflective tint is very illegal in Michigan. You'll get pulled over/ticketed for it much easier than with plain black.

Just go with black.

Man, i wish i had a camera right now. There's been a silver running around my neighborhood that has the top portion of his "platinum tint" and the bottom portion "dark tint". May sound like a weird mix, but with chrome 17s, it's pimpin. And the dark tint is definitely a good accent, because otherwise, it would look like a big piece of tinfoil rolling down the street.

I'm not a big fan of reflective tint. Just go with the black tint.

it does not really look tinted...more like the sky is reflecting off the windows. Does not look bad though...

I think you should do it, as long as you plan on doing silver or chrome rims, I would have done this tint instead of black, but it didn't fit my color scheme, but if you go for it post pics

I don't know if anyone here has used it, but from what I have heard through 2 tint shops here in town, don't do it. Both have had people complaining about radio reception with it since our antennas are in the rear window. Something to do with the mettalic reflectiveness that also reflects reception. Maybe someone else can vouch?

I had this tint on my Alero. I liked it alot and I think it was supposed to keep 85% of the sun out...it's better sun protection then just the black tint. The only thing I hated about it was is that it's not dark like black tint..it's reflective if that makes any sense.

I had no radio reception problems either.

i guess i'm just going to have to figure the radio reception thing out on my own!! i think i'm just going to go with black.....i WANT to do the silver, but due to money probs its kind of holding me back.

Most tinters will tell you that the reflective will not last as long as Black either. If you plan on keeping the car for the long haul, go with a really good lifetime warrantied tint.

More on the radio reception, it seems to only bother AM Radio (http://www.tintdude.com/totw92.html)

I actually like it, i am still sketchy on how it would work on an alero, but i bet it would look good.....can't go wrong with black tint though.

I'd try if mine was white. Going as dark as possible soon, next couple of weeks.
