Ok so sometimes my turn signals will just stop working no blinking. I'll put the turn signal on and the icon on the dash doesn't flash or even light up, neither does the bulb on the exterior. If I leave the lever on long enough they will eventually come back on, or if I hit the emergency blinkers, and it will work for a couple more days or so before it does it again. I know the blinker is controlled by kind of a fuse or something. Any ideas where and how hard it would be to fix this, or any ideas of what it is???????????

Just hit your hazard button when this happens and they will work.

I believe there is a recall to fix this.

^he's correct, there is a recall and jamming it a few times will make it work probably. My old roommates car did that. never had the prob with my 99 though.

I had to wait until I got the recall notice in the mail before they would do it.

But it'll never fix, haz is jes a temp fix. You could do it it your self or wait for a recall notice.

I got my recall notice but I don't feel like taking my car in so when mine doesn't work I just hit the hazard switch a few times. Eventually I will take it in though.

Doesn't seem like it has done it in a long time, but maybe I am just so used to it that I forgot lol.

I had the recall notice and the dealer still didn't fix mine! They said it "wasn't open". f***tards.

Anyway, the problem is a bad soldering job on the hazard/signals relay. All they will do (if they actually do it) is open up the fuse box and put more solder on the connection to keep it connected. I've found that mine stay "fixed" when I have the heat on.
