I have been working with a gentleman from www.classicsofttrim.com. He said if I can get 10 of you insterested in this item, he could sell it for 590 + shipping. I have done alot of research on this company and they get alot OEM contracts. He responds to every phone call and email i sent. This is my cost below with 10 others. You pick your colors........

He means like a PMS (Pantone Matching System) like when you buy paint and you get a nifty heavy keychain with colors to look at. Oh and i might be interested. After looking at the site I think I likes what I sees. Especially if it includes the Olds emblem in it as shown.

oh I am not sure if they have that or not. You can get that done..but it will cost more...I am going to get the prices on that stuff tomorrow....embrodery, piping, perferations (sorry about the spelling) I will post it up. :thumb:

Yes these are replacements not covers, so the old stuff would have to come off. I would recommend a professional installer.

i asked him a few more questions.

#1) NO-ONE makes 100% leather....... Roles Royce. did ...... it is NOT the industry standard, we CAN make it 100% upcharged 37%

#2).....comparison to other leather companies ? FACE VALUE.... the average individual .... can not tell the difference..... Much of " their product " is imported many products coming from over seas do not meet the standards set here in the US ..... regarding leather " content " when you see the term of " FULL LEATHER SEATING SURFACES " This means from outside seam to outside seam top to bottom front and rear seats..many companies will only do a small section in the center of the seat in leather and the rest is a matching vinyl....and often will substitute sections or panels in the rear seat is 100% vinyl to cut costs
" they do allot more retail advertising " but your people must understand the term " comparing apples to oranges "

#3) As indicated in my previous e-mails....we do not charge for 2-tone , we do not charge for piping ( which is outdated for most vehicles... used primarily in the 70s and 80s ) ,we do not charge for " contrasting french stitch " ( double stitching on seams ) we charge $25 for embroidery ( 2 logos ) in front seats....we charge $15 for perforation ( real perf, holes all the way thru ) we up charge $50 for suede inserts ( very popular with the female buyer ) we up charge $65 for carbon fiber leather inserts ( real leather not a vinyl as many are doing ) we offer a 3 year 36,000 warranty on the product for a used car..... match the factory warranty on a new car whether 5 year 60,000 or 10 year 100,000

#4) the only thing that # 4 would create.... is a possible one day delay .... in production most kits are produced the SAME day and shipped

Ok Can you elaborate more on not being 100% leather. I know our cars dont come with great leather. Infact i think they suck.

it is more of a 70% leather and 30 % vinly...he can do 100% leather but it will cost more. Your call. You will not tell the difference.

i like everyone else have my own reason for not being able to afford this (21 credits of college will do that) but im curious as a future mod type of thing

its 590 +25 for olds logos + 15 for perforated, so thats $630 uninstalled, group buy

the normal price is around 845 before shipping. I am on active duty in the military so they guy is giving all of us the military discount. I dont plan on finishing this till the end of the month. So you have some time. I just want to know if people can do it for sure.

Can he do 100% suede seat. 1 color (Royal blue/Dark navy blue) ? If so how much and i might be in. Can you ask him if he supplies the material or do I supply the material. Cuz I know where I can get my suede for 15 bucks a yard. I would just need a labor price on him sowing it up.

Here is his email Rich_Knepprath@cstdi.com he is the sales manger...if you plan on doing this..make your you mention the group buy through Chad Jackson. You could also just go with suede inserts..that would look great too....

what if I supply the material? Can you check on how much labor is then? Cuz 1180 is a little high.. katzkins does whole suede seats for around 850 and that also comes with a 6ft x 6ft insert to wrap the door panels. (even though i don't need those)
