Hello all. Latelly i came across a post that someone had painted certain parts of there interior trim. I am seriously considering doing this. i have a dark green 4 door with the tan interior. I would like to either pant them Silver to give it a brushed aluminum look or paint it grean to match the exterior on my car. Or do both. Another thing i want to do to my interior is mold a set of 6x9's in my front speaker location. Hopefully i will also be getting some of those gauges from speedhut. Steering wheel cover and some floor mats would be good touches to my cars interior. Now as for the outside of the car is where it needs help. I have pretty nast gap on my bumper. It looks as if some one ran over something and then cut the center bar out between where the two foglights mount. I either want to fix this or put a body kit on it. This is where i realy cant decide what i want to do. When its clean i love how the alero looks stock. I kind of like the Razzi kit but i think i like the AAS kit better.and am really digging the unmentionable name brand Spoiler. Now as far as hoods go are there any out there besides the cowl induction hoods?? I have alot of ideas for this car so please help me on more ideas if u have them and help me decide as well!!! you guys have yet to fail me on your help keep it up!!

I dunno how im going to do the bezel i wanna see about painting in some custom stuff... As for the handle i mean the part where the window switch is. But for the most part it will be siver maybe some gunmetal accents hear and there....

Gunmetal will be nice with the green.... you should try gunmetal for the vent trim if it's an option, and green on the actual vents. I'm actually thinking gunmetal instead of silver would be pretty sweet...

you can't find a match to your car at WalMart or O'Reilleys? They usually have damn close matches.

And I might (I think I may have already) warn against doing much if any brush-painting... it ends up lookin kinda crappy under clear coat...

Yea thats why i went with spray. The interior is still in a developmental stage. I am waiting for my color swatches to come in from Wheelskins. to see how closely the green and tan match the rest of my car. Now when you said paint my vent trims gunmetal and the parts green u meant to leave the other parts as metallic silver right? since i already have about 4 parts painted.... A two tone mine not look too bad...

Yeah, you could do door trims silver, maybe 1 piece on each door gunmetal. And then do most stuff on the dash with gunmetal & green, and a few things silver.

hmm good thinking.... So what about the console tho???BTW the HVAC controls is that whole piece removable?? its to deeply scratched to be sanded so im not going to paint it....

Noooooooooo don't try to take it off... bad...

Just mask the whole thing off... If you think it's too scratched, hold off on painting that piece of trim and find another piece.

just mask it off......... I used electrical tape so it would match the curves. :)

what? lmao you've been posting here to only 1 person... me.

I suggest gunmetal and green, lose the silver... but it depends on how it all looks with your swatches...
