stalling...AAAHH!

2 weeks after i got my alero i was driving back home on the highway going about 70mph(with cruise set) and my car just started to slow down.. i turned off cruise and tried to give it gas but it would just bog down... the mechanic i go to said it was the fuel pump... we replaced it and for a while it was perfect... then about 2 weeks ago it did the same shizzit... think it's a faulty fuel pump?? anyone ever had this problem??

Yea, that sounds like it might be the fuel filter. How many miles u got on it? Im at 33,000 and I havnt had that problem. Only prob I had was a faulty oil sending unit at about 21,000 and it was obviosly covered by warrenty.

first time it happened it was at 34000mi...now i have about 38000mi on the biatch

oh... and i did switch the fuel filter... after i replaced the fuel pump... maybe i need to again??? :blink:

I had a problem like that. It was the fuel pump and the car sat in my driveway for 3 days. It had to be towed to Oldsmoblie
