my key hole for my trunk has not worked since i bought the car so the only way i can open the trunk is through the button on the inside of my door. yesterday when i popped the trunk, i had no idea what that little "lock out" switch next to the latch was for so i though it had something to do with the key hole not wotkin. then i stupidly closed the trunk, now knowing that it wouldnt let me back in using the remote button...my question is, is there anyway to get the rear seats out, so that i can crawl into the trunk and click that stip switch back?
PLEASE HELP! all my summer tires are in my trunk!

Get a coat hanger, straigten it out and try to fish around for the loops that lock the seat backs in place.
Both straps are all the way back under the rear deck even with the trim all the way on the right of the left speaker.
Good luck

Not sure but you could remove the back deck then the speakers and try and get one of your hands back there to pull the seat release and then crawl through.

Take a huge drill and drill the lock till it isnt there any more. You cant get the rear deck out without the back seats down you cant get the back seats down unless you can get in the trunk. Drive your car to a dealer and they will take your lock out and replace it possibly under warrantee.

did you not read my post above? you cant take the rear deck out without the SEATS DOWN you cant TAKE THE SEATS DOWN without the TRUNK OPEN. See here is the problem he CANT GET IN HIS TRUNK so he CANT GET THE BACK SEATS DOWN so he CANT GET THE REAR DECK OUT.

You can pop off the speaker covers.......then access the 6x9's....you might have loose speaker covers when it's all done cuz the rivets are broken A: it's fixable...and B: if u dont fix it, it's still better than drilling out your lock!!!!!!!

I know this is old, but wow. I just locked my keys in my trunk, no spare set, and the lockout switch is turned on.
I tried using a coat hanger through the back seat to get the straps, but I couldn't hook it. I managed to get into the trunk though, by pulling the top of the left side passenger seat towards me as hard as I could and then squeezing my arm in there.
Then I just stretched as far as I could grabbed the strap and gave it a couple tugs. The left side wouldn't go down (presumably because I was pulling on the seat) but I got the right side to go down.
I felt like my arm was going to rip off trying to grab those straps, but it worked and my arm is intact. A little red, but its in one piece.
I'm going to get an extra set of keys made right now.
