Heading To The Track

I posted a while back that on GAGT that I will be going to Atco raceway on April 17th to show that my car will run 15 flat or possiblly 14's. We all know that an Alero could never beat a totally indentical GA, let alone a modded one.

Anyway, it's a bike day and a T&T so I'm also going to try out my intake invention and see if it helps or hurts.

I'll post all results on Sunday night or Monday and tell everybody which run is which, in terms of the intake. The only bad thing is that my downstream O2 is out again due to the free flowing exhaust on my NE emissions car :rolleyes: It cuts out for a second under WOT but not all the time. I bought the O2 sim from PFYC but it's installing it that's a bitch :glare: I should get it Friday.

My g/f tapes it for me but I use a Panasonic VHS-C. If anybody knows a way to transfer tapes onto my hard drive, let me know. I have one from last season of me whipping a mid 80's TA

GAGT's have the edge off the line after that there is no difference.

then explain how both of my friends' GAGT's ran a 15.2 and a 15.3 BONE STOCK and the alero runs like a 15.8-16.2ish stock....the GA's 1st gear and lower powerband is MUCH better....that's where I always get pulled on. I actually am better off the line but from like 2000-4200 rpm's they always pull on me.

I see your 1/4 mile time, 14.96 is good but what was you r/t?

My r/t on the 14.98 was .172 which is a crappy one for me

Now this was with Headers, the head work, stock exhaust piping and a Bad MAF in 2003, I have run faster but i lost my slip so its not official.

And as for 15.2 and 15.3 stock. 95% of GT's DONT run that stock they run from a 15.8-15.6. There are some who cant even get out of the 16's.

my alero runs 15.9 bone stock except for a cheap exaust and ive never been beat by a gagt not even at the line which pisses my brother of because he has a 99 gagt and he cant beat me. is there any way to stop my car from shuting down at 105-106mph :( because thats were i get beat unless im on the track then i only hit 85mph in the bottem of 3rd gear :angry:
