i would say screw the mesh and diamond plate poop. Either go with nothing or by a fake intercooler kit for looks and mount it. The kit comes with filter and pipes. however it is not a working kit since your car has no turbo, its just a show kit. I believe you can get it at grounddynamics.com.

the kit has too much open area not to have mesh IMO... so IMO it depends on the color scheme you are going with. I like the black rims, and black mesh would look good with it.
