Removal Of Prop Rod

god im so mad right now, how the hell do i take the prop rod out!? iv tryed pulling and twisting it out, ive been playing with it for like 45 minutes and now its all loose at the base.

you need help takin it off and i need help fixing mine cuz it wont stay on... my family someway or another broke it when they messed up my hood so mine doesnt sit right
