Never buy a used car!!!!

I bought my 99 alero used and i now regret buying a used car. It's in the shop right now cause anti-freeze is leaking into the engine. The warrenty supposedly covers this, but theres like a $450 tear down fee to take my engine apart to see everything thats wrong with it.

Worst of all im stuck driving my dad's 97 ugly green ford contour for two weeks...

a tear down fee? tell them its the intake manifold gasket.........thats what it is.........it looks to me like they are just trying to get money out of you....

that right there is why i am glad i sold my alero. i had it leak twice, both under warrenty. i had the 60,000 mile warrenty and when i sold it i had 58,600 between the damn hub sensors, rotors, manifold leak, and other random stuff breaking, an alero is an expensive car to keep up once warrenty is gone

^^^ I think that's what i'm going to haveta do in the next lil while - the intake manifold gasket.... i have a slow leak right now... but i've been told that this is the reason why. I just did the left front hub which was kinda expensive... i'm not so sure how long i'm going to keep the car either.
