Hi folks... actually I'm not an Alero owner, although if all goes well this week I'll be putting the IRS from an 01 Alero onto the rear end of my Cavalier ;)

I came here looking for suspension upgrades.. I have Eibach Pro-Kit springs w/ Koni Reds, plus Addco rear sway bar on my Cavalier at the moment... but I'd hate to have to go back to stock height with this IRS swap :D I'll have to lower the rear, and upgrade the stock sway bar as well!! Thing is.. who will sell me just the rear set of springs and Konis for cheap? Ha ha..

Anyways.. that's my intro... flame away :)

howdy! http://instagiber.net/smiliesdotcom/contrib/legionxs/wavey.gif

plenty of springs available, but koni's don't make struts for us. Gonna have to go with Monroe or KYB. ;)

Thanks everyone!

I'm also a pretty much home-brewed expert on 2.4L motors... so if you need advice or answers on anything.... shoot! :) I first figured out the 2000+ Class 2 wiring in May 2000... my web page on that still baffles a lot of GM techs and car stereo installers ;) Figured out DRL disables that are BCM-friendly.. now working on the older cars too. Instead of jumpering wires, relays, etc. I also run a couple of forums on J-cars... and write the FAQ for J-body.org.. so if you have any need for info... let me know :D
