So anyone have pictures of what they have dont to the dash and stuff? Stock is so boring, was thinking of going to junk yard and buying the little plastic edging that goes around buttons and stuff and painting it the color of my car but not sure. What have ya'll done?

thanks guys, looks great, i like pimpalero's the best, i think im gonna do that except the emergency flasher one.

you guys think it would be wise to get the parts from the junk yard to paint and keep stocks around just incase? or are they a bit expensive?

 Thanks Sno! You have to take the glove box off to get up to the clips for the vent on that end of the dash. It's no bigie, just 4 screws and you take it off, super easy to get off & back on. :)

Silver and black will look nice :thumb:

how the hell did you paint it silver and keep your a/c setting logos on there?

Nex, it was a bitch and it looks like crap close up. I am re-doing it soon with a vinyl mask (should have in the first place).

Basically I painted it by hand and then cleared the icons with an exacto.

or you could just leave it plain because unless it is fiberglassed painted interiors are http://www.aimface.com/ikons/IKONed2f9b9af6ec16a066a47c4d8d2c7780bf29388050.gif

you could put circle sitickers over the symbols. then paint and remove the stickers, you'd have a black circle with white lettering inside, but it would look cleaner.

^^what is the best thing to use to paint your center arm rest? i'm thinking it would be hard to paint because its soft, so the paint would crease or stretch if you pressed down too hard. do you die the material, or is there a product you can use?

how the crap do you "pint" an interior?? :wtf:

smlzalero

^ Of course, it takes Rev to point that out even though I'm sure everyone knows what he meant.

Pinting is when you drink pint after pint and if you're pinting your interior, you're redoing it in puke-color after too many pints or just filling it up with empties... lol

so im getting my stuff off to start pinting and im realizing that which ever vents have the flow change circle thing, turn air flow on/off thing, arnt coming off easy like the other stuff... any reason for this? do i have to do something special besides taking a screw driver and trying to pop them off?
