Hey... I'm tryin to find someone near the algonquin.elgin.schaumburg.chicago area to paint my interior . I can do it, but i dont feel like findin out how to take off all these parts again, like i did with the contour . I'd rather pay someone , So if you can tell me your price and your location it would be greatly appreciated . Also if you live near me, do u you know where i can get those pinstripes taken off , cuz i dont feel like doin that either , or buyin stuff to do it since its a one time thing , wana find a body shop out here .

the pinstripes are like stickers, just pull them off. if there's residue, use goo-gone to get rid of it. Is that good "how-to"? :P

Its white, I just pulled off the stickers on the passenger side , so now theres a pinstripe of glue , i was wondering what is the best mineral to use to get that off without ruining car paint of course .

Go to a local parts store and grab some stuff called "Goo Gone".. works the best I found to remove sticky residue from the paint.. used it when I took some of my badges off and it worked like a charm

Yea Goo Gone is the best, you can take gum off of carpet with that stuff.

ok, thanks but the residue isnt sticky . It looks like paint , or i guess dry glue , because it scratches of on some spots . Is the goo gone gonna soften it up or somethin . Cuz i figured i'd need some kind of mineral to soften this stuff.

Yeah, the Goo Gone breaks it down to a gel that can be easily wiped off. Then just do some touch up with a spray on detailer's wax and a soft Terry. hope this helps Yomeo. Be sure to check out the "Bazaar" section, too. A member named VTOLDS is selling a set of guages that would look SWEET with your interior theme.
