inspection in NY with clear corners?

its a question for anyone in new york, has anyone with clear corners gone to have their inspection done? have they gotten any hassle about them being clear? i put orange bulbs in. thought id ask since its at the end of this month.

im not frm NY but you shouldnt have any problems, since youve got the orange/amber bulbs in their proper places

i took out the orange bulb and put in a clear one. any way...inspection? ny has that

If you have the amber bulb in place of the amber lens you should be OK.

As with any state that has inspections, there is always someone out there that will pass you for some extra cash. Just have to find the right place.

Yeah, the right place will pass you. But remember, it's a federal regulation that you have amber reflectors on the front. They won't care what color the bulbs are, as long as they aren't blue or red (reserved for emergency vehicles). But they'll care if there's not a reflector. You could always get two of those cheapy stick on ones for bicycles, then take them off after the inspection. Then you could keep them around for future inspections. ;)

Just say there OEM parts from the europeian cars. they are clear for them

I didn't have a problem getting mine inspected. And I got it done at a Goodyear garage. I have amber bulbs in there, and I think thats all that matters

haha, no inspections down in the south, or at least not here
