it's not too bad. i replaced both of my front hubs. just be careful with the wiring harness, they are very touchy.

lol, a puller makes it a heck of a lot easier. Luckily, my cousin owns a garage with a lift and a puller. I just did mine 2 months ago.

Now just to make sure what I'm hearing are the hubs/bearings, I get this womp womp womp for lack of better description sound while driving on the highway starting at like 60-70mph. I'm almost but not positive that it is not road noise from the tires. What have you guys heard when you knew it was time to replace the hubs?

It will kind of sound like you are driving a truck with muddin tires. Get the worst right around 40-45 mph, at least mine did.

I got SVS, TRAC OFF, and ANTI LOCK lights on when mine went. It didn't make any sounds or anything... but it does usually when it brakes.

sounds like you had a failure of the sensor first, im my case without traction control or abs i just got a mechanical failure (the howling noise)

the womp womp womp noise could be from a faulty tire. my moms old jeep grand cherokee did that when the tire's ply's started to seperate a little....id have the tires inspected. the hub wont make a womp womp sound

The sound is clear when driving down the highway on smooth asphalt but kinda gets drowned out by road noise when on concrete. The tires are getting kinda worn down so maybe its that. Wonder if a dealer, and I know how most feel about dealer's opinions, would be able to say what it might be?

There is this guy on eBay that sells them for $94.99 each with $29 for shipping and said he'd only charge shipping for one if you buy them both at the same time. :thumb:
