(performance not appearance)
- Eibach Springs are a performance spring
- B&G Springs are a performance and comfort spring
- I can break a control arm (both) - the 99 grand am has cast aluminum control arms - get these if possible
- I can break a rear sway bar clamp (5)
- Your rear sway bar bushing will squeak without constant lubing - by welding a bolt in where the rear sway bar clamp tab goes in you can utilize the energy suspension greasable bushing and clamp part no.(355-9-5158)
- Your front sway bar bushing will squeak without constant lubing- by tapping a grease nipple into the stock clamp and drilling a hole in the poly bushing it will help to lube the bushing without dismantling everything again.
- KYB struts are not sufficient to contain any aftermarket spring but are better than stock - I am in the process of doing the Koni front strut conversion
- there is a huge difference in cornering between Kumho ecsta 225-45-17 and hankook ventus 235-45-17 (kumho better - stronger sidewall plus the sidewall size difference but hankook are stickier)
- big brakes on the front are great - it's the way it should have been from the factory and better
